Colony-forming assay of bone marrow–derived CD34⁺ cells from CN patients and healthy volunteers after 5 weeks in liquid culture.

All samples were from patients and controls not receiving G-CSF. Results for patient 2.3 are based on 30 × 10⁴CD34⁺ cells plated. For all other patients and controls, 50 × 10⁴ CD34⁺ cells were used. Data represent mean values of colony numbers ± SD of triplicate plates.
