Neutrophils were allowed to adhere to untreated ECs (A) or to 24-hour TNF-α–treated ECs (B) for 15 minutes. After measuring the baseline stiffness, 1 μM fMLP or vehicle was added, and neutrophil stiffness was measured 2, 5, 10, and 15 minutes later.
