Structural and functional characterization of rvWFs.

(A) Multimeranalysis. The samples were electrophoresed in 1.5% agarose gels. vWF was visualized using anti-vWF pAbs labeled with alkaline phosphatase. Binding of rvWFs to platelets in the presence of (B) ristocetin or (C) botrocetin. The binding was expressed as the percentage of platelet-bound radioactivity to total radioactivity. Non-specific binding estimated with conditioned media from mock-transfected cells was less than 2%. Results represent the mean ± SD of 3 experiments performed in duplicate.
