Effect of inhibitors of leukocyte elastase (HLE/CMK) and cathepsin G (CG/CMK) on the up-regulation of plasminogen binding to cultured neutrophils.

Cells (1.5 × 10⁷) were cultured for 20 hours without or in the presence of the indicated enzyme inhibitors: SBTI, 100 μg/mL; HLE/CMK, 60 μM; or CG/CMK, 10 μM. After washing, plasminogen binding was assessed. Means ± SEM are from at least 4 separate experiments.
