Washed platelets were subjected to SDF-1 or MDC at 0.5 μg/mL or to ADP under low-shear stresses for 10 seconds at 37°C, as described for Figure 2, and then fixed with glutaraldehyde for subsequent processing and examination by scanning electron microscopy.25 (A) Control.
