A stable U937 cell line expressing an antisense p21WAF1/CIP1 construct (p21AS) or its empty vector control (pREP) was exposed to BRY (10 nM), LC (1 μM), or LC/B for 24 hours, after which apoptosis was determined by morphologic analysis.
