GCV treatment mitigates lethal GVHD in mice transplanted with HSV-TK⁺ T cells.

Lethally irradiated B10.BR mice were transplanted with TCD B6 BM (10⁷) alone (○, n = 6/group) or together with 3 × 10⁶ B6 T cells. Animals transplanted with T cells were then either left untreated (▪, n = 9-10/group) or received the specified schedule of GCV therapy (■, n = 10/group) (panel A, days 0-9; panel B, days 3-16; and panel C, days 7-20). Actual survival is depicted. Data are cumulative results from 2 independent experiments per schedule.
