RBC count (panel A) and Hb concentrations (panel B) were measured in C57BL/6 mice infected with P yoelii 265 BY. Control and IFN-α–treated mice were injected IP daily, until day 25, with 0.1% BSA (vehicle) or rhIFN-α (5 × 104U). Symbols represent the mean ± SE of 5 mice.
