BALB/c female mice, either nonirradiated (___/0 Gy) or irradiated (___/1 Gy), were infused with nonirradiated (0 Gy/___) or irradiated (1 Gy/___) male marrow (40 × 106 cells) without the addition of female marrow cells (without female) or with the addition of 40 × 106 nonirradiated female BALB/c marrow cells (with female). Data are presented as the mean male engraftment in marrow ± 1 SD at 8 weeks after cell infusion.
