(A) Number of PMNs reached maximal levels at 1 hour in spleen and lungs, 6 hours in the liver after LPS injection. (B) Number of PMNs was reduced in the liver after treatment with anti–P-selectin Ab or LMWH or fucoidin; significant increases were observed in spleen and lungs, compared with LPS treatment alone. (C) Percent of PMNs in peripheral blood increased and combined treatment increased more and peaked 6 hours after LPS injection.
