Adhesion of activated neutrophils to surfaces coated with α_EC and D₁₀₀.

(A) Neutrophils were isolated from human blood, resuspended in HBSS, and labeled with Calcein. Cells (0.1 mL; 2 × 10⁵cells/mL) were activated with 10 nM PMA and then distributed into wells of plates coated with various concentrations of α_EC (●) and D₁₀₀ (▿). Adhesion was done as described in the legends for Figures 2 to 5. (B) Adhesion of activated neutrophils to wells coated with 10 μg/mL α_EC (solid bars) and 10 μg/mL D₁₀₀ (open bars) in the absence or presence of 10 μg/mL mAb IB4.
