CCR5 recovery after internalization and effects of cycloheximide.
(A) CHO.CCR5 cells. Internalization was induced with MIP-1α as described. After 1 hour cells were washed and incubated in medium at 37°C. When indicated, cycloheximide (10 μg/mL) was added during the recovery phase. At given time points, samples were taken and subjected to FACS stain. 1, control (MIP-1α; 2, 45 minutes; 3, 45 minutes (plus cycloheximide); 4, 90 minutes; 5, 90 minutes (plus cycloheximide); 6, 120 minutes; 7, 120 minutes (plus cycloheximide).
