Effects of Vβ7⁺ or Vβ8⁺T-cell depletion on in vitro anti-β₂GPI antibody production.

Vβ2⁺, Vβ7⁺, and Vβ8⁺cell-depleted PBMCs and mock-treated PBMCs were cultured with GP-F (10 μg/mL) and pokeweed mitogen (1 μg/mL) for 10 days. Anti-β₂GPI antibody levels in undiluted culture supernatants were measured by an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Significant inhibition of anti-β₂GPI antibody production by the depletion treatment is indicated by an asterisk. A representative result from 3 independent experiments is shown.
