(A) and (B) show the partial nucleotide sequence of theNUP98-NSD1 and NSD1-NUP98 fusion transcripts respectively. In each case the germline NUP98 andNSD1 nucleotide sequences are also shown. Arrows show theNUP98 and NSD1 fusion points. In (A), theNUP98 and NSD1 mRNA were fused in-frame joining nucleotide 1552 (corresponding to the end of exon 12) ofNUP98 to nucleotide 3506 (corresponding to exon 6) ofNSD1. In (B), NSD1 and NUP98 mRNA were fused in-frame joining nucleotide 3505 of NSD1 (exon 5) to nucleotide 1553 (exon 13) of NUP98.
