Induction of cell death by the BH3 peptide increases erythrocyte intracellular calcium. (A) Intracellular calcium levels as determined by the Fluo-3 AM probe. Erythrocytes cultured in the presence and absence of plasma were loaded with the calcium probe Fluo-3 AM and analyzed by flow cytometric analysis immediately following initial cell culture and at 4 and 6 days respectively.
