M90 neutralizing antibody to CD40L inhibits proliferation of L3055 cells at limiting population densities.

(A) L3055 cells (wild-type) were plated at numbers indicated in flat-bottom microwells containing 200 μL culture medium (CM) with OKT3 or M90 added at 5 μg/mL as indicated. DNA synthesis was assessed 5 days later by ³HTdr incorporation during a 4-hour pulse. Results represent the mean (with SE) of 3 separate experiments and are expressed as cpm per 1000 cells plated. (B) L3055 cells (empty vector controls or bcl-2 transfected as indicated) were plated and cultured as for upper panel. Here, the results are given as percentage of control values as a result of M90 addition and expressed as mean (with SE) of 3 separate experiments.
