Cell adhesion inhibition and the anti-Duv^a+antibody.

(A) CHO cells expressing the Duv^a+ form of the complex were incubated with the anti-Duv^a+ (open bar) or a control (gray bar) sera. Washed cells were then layered onto immobilized fibrinogen (250 ng per well) for 2 hours at 37°C. Quantification of bound cells was performed as described in the legend to Figure 7. (B) CHO cells expressing the Duv^a+ form of the complex were incubated with RGDS (open bar) or a control RGES (gray bar) peptides prior to adding 10 μL anti-Duv^a+ sera corresponding to a half-saturation amount. After a washing, bound human antibodies were detected by flow cytometry as described in the legend to Figure 3. Results represent the mean ± SD of 3 experiments.
