Resistance of immunized mice to infection by vaccinia virus (vPE16) expressing the HIV env gene. Mice (5 mice/group) were challenged intraperitoneally with 10⁸ PFUs of vPE16 virus one week after the final immunization. Vaccinia virus titers in the mouse ovaries were measured 6 days after virus challenge. *Mean values significantly different between the groups.
