NEMO-binding domain (NBD) peptide abrogates LPS-induced NF-κB mobilization. Cells (2 × 106) were either left untreated or were incubated with control peptide (MUT, 100 μM) or increasing concentrations of NBD (10, 50, and 100 μM) for 60 minutes before treatment with 1 μg/mL LPS for 90 minutes. NF-κB binding activity was assessed by EMSA. Pretreatment with 100 μM TAT-NBD led to the abrogation of LPS-induced NF-κB activity. A representative figure of 3 independent experiments is depicted.
