Recognition of the epitopes predicted by computer algorithm by the pp65-specific CTL lines. Linear expression fragments encoding various peptides including the predicted epitopes were generated and transfected into 293T cells together with restricting HLA cDNA. Recognition by the pp65-specific CTL lines was evaluated 48 hours later by ELISPOT assay. Numbers indicate the amino acid position of pp65 encoded by each construct.
