Expression of TACI and BAFF-R mRNAs in normal and leukemic B cells. Total RNA from normal blood-derived B lymphocytes, B-CLL leukemic B cells, and EHEB cells (control) was extracted as previously described, and cDNAs were subjected to PCR amplification with specific primers for TACI (lane A, 327 bp), BAFF-R (lane B, 256 bp), and β₂-microglobulin as control (lane C, 169 bp). Negative controls were performed in the absence of cDNA and Taq.
