Platelets were either (A) unstimulated (control) or (B) stimulated with recombinant fractalkine (rhCX3C; 1 μg/mL). The proadhesive effect was blocked by either (C) antagonism of rhCX3C (AF537; 100 μg/mL; 30 min) or by (D) disruption of CX3CR1-mediated signaling with PTX (0.4 nM; 45 min).
