The recognition of tumor cells by NKp46 is confined to the membrane proximal domain. Melanomas (1106mel, LBmelA1,1259mel, 1076mel), prostate carcinomas (PC3, LN-CAP), and EBV-transformed B cells (DAUDI, 721.221) were stained with NKp46-Ig, NKp46D1-Ig, or NKp46D2-Ig fusion proteins followed by PE-conjugated goat antihuman Fc.
