Eph/ephrin signaling in platelets promotes integrin engagement. EphrinB1 on the surface of platelet can serve as both a ligand for Eph kinases on adjacent platelets and as the focus for a signaling complex that promotes Rap1 activation and integrin engagement in response to agonists.
