BHRF1-specific CD4 T-cell clones show a Th1-like cytokines profile. Two SF-derived clones (G4 and G14) from patient RA14 and 2 PBL-derived clones (LP15 and LP18) from the healthy donor D3 (LP15 and LP18) were tested for cytokine production. IFN-γ and IL-4 production was detected after stimulation with PMA and ionomycin. The percentage of cytokine-producing cells is indicated in the quadrant. One representative experiment of 3 is shown.
