Role of PAF and its receptors on VEGFA165–induced P-selectin translocation. HUVECs were pretreated with selective PAFR antagonists, at the indicated concentrations, for 15 minutes prior to stimulation with VEGF-A165 (10–9 M, 7.5 minutes; A) or PAF (10–9 M, 7.5 minutes; B). Pretreatment with intracellular (LAU 8080), extracellular (BN 52021) and nonspecific PAFR (CV-3988) antagonists reduced significantly the translocation of P-selectin induced by VEGF-A165 and PAF.
