TRAF6 inhibits LPS-induced apoptosis in primary endothelial cells. BAECs were transduced with TRAF6 or empty vector. (A) Cells were stimulated with LPS for various times as indicated and activation of Akt was determined by immunoblotting for phospho-Akt. Membranes were stripped and reprobed for α-tubulin as a loading control. (B) Transduced BAECs were treated with LPS at various concentrations for 16 hours. Cell survival was measured by neutral red incorporation and normalized to cells treated with vehicle alone.
