Competitive repopulation of 14.5 dpc fetal liver cells. Fetal liver cells from wt and Hoxb4^-/- 14.5 dpc fetuses were transplanted in competition with B6.SJL bone marrow cells. Blood samples were analyzed at 3, 6, and 12 weeks after BMT for the contribution of fetal liver–derived blood cells. No significant difference in contributions of cells from wt compared with Hoxb4^-/--derived fetal liver cells was seen at any time point.
