Time-dependent increase in MP-associated TF PCA in platelet-free plasma following exposure of whole blood to LPS ex vivo. Heparinized whole-blood samples from 5 healthy controls were stimulated with 10 ng/mL LPS at 37°C for 24 hours. At various time points after LPS exposure, platelet-free plasma was prepared (as described in “Materials and methods”) and assayed for MP-associated TF PCA.
