Confirmation of TNF-α-regulated endothelial gene expression profiles by flow cytometry. Expression of selected genes found to be TNF-α-regulated by microarray analysis was surveyed by flow cytometry. Endothelial cells were stimulated with TNF-α for 16 hours and processed for surface (CD69, CD137) or intracellular flow cytometry (fractalkine, IL-8, IL-6), respectively. Specific profiles are shown by thick lines and isotype control profiles appear as thin lines.
