Fucoidan alters CFU-C migration toward CXCL12. BMNCs were preincubated with different concentrations of fucoidan before performing chemotactic assays to 25 ng/mL CXCL12. Migrated and input cells were assayed for CFU-Cs in methylcellulose cultures. In some samples, cells were washed before the migration assay to remove unbound fucoidan (10+wash).
