Water or perindopril (10, 30, or 90 mg/kg) was administered (↑) subcutaneously twice a day for 4 days beginning 48 hours before exposure to irradiation (gray arrow; single dose of either 7 Gy [nonlethal regimen] or 8.3, 8.7, or 9.1 Gy [lethal regimen]).
