The microarray studies reflect gene expression kinetics accurately. Genes previously shown to exhibit altered expression during G1E-ER4 maturation include Gata-2,⁴⁸  Myc,²⁵  Abcb10 (Abc-me),²³  and Bcl-x_L.⁴⁸  Northern blots are compared with transcript levels predicted by microarrays. The Y-axes of the graphs show absolute signal values from the microarrays. Hours after estradiol treatment are indicated.
