VEGF triggers up-regulation of Mcl-1 in HMCLs. HMCLs (MM1s, MM1r, and U266) were starved overnight in RPMI 1640 with 0.5% FBS and then cultured in the absence or presence of VEGF (50 ng/mL) or IL-6 (50 ng/mL) for 6 hours.
