MDC- and IL-8–induced cell-surface down-regulation of CCR4 and CXCR1 on CD8 T-cell subsets. CD8 T cells were exposed to increasing concentrations of MDC and IL-8, and cell-surface expression was assessed by flow cytometry. MDC selectively induced a dose-dependent internalization of CCR4 on CM and EM CD8 T cells, while IL-8 selectively induced a dose-dependent internalization of CXCR1 on EM and EMRA CD8 T cells.
