Short-term exposure to patupilone suffices to inhibit survival of MM cell lines. MM.1S (⋄), U266 (□), and RPMI 8226 (▵) cells were exposed for 4 hours to 0, 10, or 100 nM patupilone, then incubated in culture media devoid of patupilone.
