Production of inflammatory mediators by STI-571–treated APCs. Bone marrow–derived DCs were treated with either LPS (5 μg/mL), STI-571 (10 μM), or LPS (5 μg/mL) + 10 μM STI-571 or left untreated for 6 hours. Then supernatants were collected and assayed for IL-12 (A), IL-1α (B), IL-6 (C), or RANTES (D) by ELISA. Values are the mean ± SE of triplicate cultures.
