CsA, tacrolimus, or rapamycin do not inhibit presentation of an OVA peptide, SIINFEKL. Indicated amounts of CsA(○), tacrolimus (▿), or rapamycin (□) were added to cultures of DC2.4 cells together with the antigenic peptide of OVA, SIINFEKL. The cells were harvested, washed, and then the amount of SIINFEKL–H-2K^b complex was measured by the lacZ T-cell activation assay as described for Figure 1A. Each data point represents the mean plus or minus SD of values obtained from 3 individual experiments.
