sPLA2 treatment increases DC migration in response to MIP-3β. Day-5 DCs were treated for 48 hours in the presence of FCS or LPD-FCS with sPLA2 alone (10 μg/mL) or in combination with TNF-α (100 U/mL) plus IL-1β (1 ng/mL). DCs (10⁵ cells) were then added to wells of Transwell chambers containing MIP-3β in the lower chamber. The number of migrated cells present in the lower chamber was counted by flow cytometry as the number of events acquired during 1 minute. Mean values of duplicate measurements are shown.
