Figure 5. CEP-701 treatment does not significantly affect hematopoietic progenitors from engrafted NOD-SCID mice. Two groups of mice were injected with 6 × 106 CD34+ cells obtained from the mobilized peripheral blood of a normal donor. One group of mice was treated with CEP-701 (20 mg/kg, subcutaneously twice daily for 5 days out of every 4 weeks), the other with vehicle only. After 14 weeks, bone marrow cells were harvested from the mice and assayed for progenitor cells. Each column on the graph represents the average number of colonies obtained from 5 individual marrows.
