B-cell recovery and granulocyte dynamics. Flow cytometric quantitation of circulating B cells and granulocytes was performed in 24 patients with mantle cell lymphoma. (A) The kinetics of B-cell recovery following DA-EPOCH-R is shown. Before treatment, both normal and neoplastic B cells were present. After treatment, only normal circulating B cells were present. B-cell recovery of more than 40 cells/mm3 was achieved in 14 of 21 evaluable patients at 9 months and in 23 of 24 patients at 12 months.
