Aberrant T-cell activation and increased serum inflammatory cytokine levels in moribund Socs1^lox/-LysM-cre mice. (A) Peripheral blood CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ T cells from moribund Socs1^lox/-LysM-cre (▦) and age-matched Socs1^lox/- nontransgenic (□) mice were analyzed for expression of CD44, CD69, CD25, and CD62L by flow cytometry. (B) The serum of neonatal moribund Socs1^lox/-CMV-cre and age-matched Socs1^lox/- nontransgenic mice, adult moribund Socs1^lox/-LysM-cre and age-matched Socs1^lox/-Lck-cre and Socs1^lox/- nontransgenic mice, and young healthy Socs1^lox/-LysM-cre mice were measured for IFN-γ, TNF, and IL-12p40 levels by ELISA.
