DEX blocks IL-2, IFN-γ, and TNF-α cytokine production in activated human CD4⁺T cells. Cells were stimulated with anti-CD3 and anti-CD28 Abs and incubated in the presence or absence of 10^-6 M DEX. Supernatants were collected after overnight culturing, and cytokine protein levels were measured using a cytokine bead array. Results are expressed as the mean ± SD of triplicate determinations. DEX indicates dexamethasone.
