The anti-human C6 mAb 1C9 inhibits complement-mediated hemolysis in a dose-dependent manner. Different concentrations of 1C9 (0-30 nM) were assessed in a conventional complement-mediated hemolytic assay containing sensitized sheep RBCs and 1% normal human serum in GVB containing Ca⁺⁺ and Mg⁺⁺.
