Abstract
Using a double labeling technic the DNA synthesis time of CML blood myelocytes was found to be 14.2 ± 0.8 hours if all myelocytes were considered, and 13.6 ± 0.6 hours for large myelocytes only.
The DNA synthesis time of CML marrow myelocytes did not differ significantly from that for blood myelocytes.
These values are indistinguishable from previous estimates of DNA synthesis time in normal granulopoietic precursors.
