Abstract
Purified human lymphocytes stimulated with PHA were shown to have increased levels of both lysosomal and "supernatant" enzymes. A redistribution of lysosomal enzymes between bound and free enzymes was shown to occur in PHA stimulated lymphocytes within the first two hours. Polyribosome profiles and a working system of polyribosomes were obtained utilizing nitrogen cavitation for disruption of the cell’s membranes.
