In the article by Susan E. Rittenhouse, entitled “Phosphoinositide 3-Kinase Activation and Platelet Function,” which appeared in the December 15, 1996 issue (Vol 88, No 12, pp 4401-4414), a correction should be noted. Due to a publishing error, the author's designation “μM” was mistranslated as “millimolar” and “mmol/L” on page 4410. It should have read “micromolar” and “micromol/L,” respectively.
