ERRATUM

In the article by Kozyraki et al, entitled “The Human Intrinsic Factor-Vitamin B₁₂ Receptor, Cubilin: Molecular Characterization and Chromosomal Mapping of the Gene to 10p Within the Autosomal Recessive Megaloblastic Anemia (MGA1) Region,” which appeared in the May 15, 1998 issue (Vol 91, No 10, pp 3593-3600) corrections should be noted. In Figure 1 the NH₂ terminal is Ser-Ile-Asn-Leu-Gln-Gln. In Figure 3 the 18-residue sequence spanning amino acid 892-909 has to be replaced with the following 19–amino acid sequence: NHGFMAKFSAEDLACGEIL. This increases the total number of residues of the receptor with one to 3598. The corrected sequence has been submitted to the GenBank/EBI Data Bank with the accession no. AF034611.
