In the article by Urashima et al entitled “An oral CD40 ligand gene therapy against lymphoma using attenuated Salmonella typhimurium,” which appeared in the February 15, 2000, issue ofBlood (Volume 95:1258-1263), a correction should be noted. Under “Materials and methods, Salmonella strain and CD40L,” the name of the auxotrophic ST aroA⁻ strain donated by Dr Bruce A. D. Stocker and grown in 100 mL L broth should have been given as SL7207.
