Abstract
An example of leuko-phagocytosis secondary to metastic bronchogenic carcinoma is presented. The transitory development of leukoagglutination and leukophagocytosis (pseudo-L.E. cell phenomenon) led to the erroneous diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus. The differentiation between the L.E. cell phenomenon and the pseudo-phenomenon is discussed.
